I found this on Facebook today by fabulous Fremantle artist Horatio T Birdbath:

Here is a humble contribution to the discussion of mental health…
There is a level beyond that of the mechanisms that help us all maintain some kind of equilibrium in our daily lives.
It’s called mental wealth.
It’s the good and bad memories of experiences and interactions that you’ve had,all of which contribute to the rich tapestry of your life experience.
It’s the memories you can access to help put any current emotional quandry into context.
It’s a continual reminder that the now is only the now,and that all things have the possibility of change…the now is not forever,it’s already a then in the making.
How you will see the future then that is now is entirely dependant on you and you alone, and the resources within you that you have built up over the years.
Mental wealth.
“Wisdom is only experience filtered by intelligence.”
Horatio T.Birdbath.
“Wealth is the ability to fully experience life.”
Henry David Thoreau.
Good luck with today’s now.
Cheers.
